Who we are

The Sheikh Zayed Private Academies bring together two Abu Dhabi schools — The Sheikh Zayed Private Academy for Girls (SZPAG) and The Sheikh Zayed Private Academy for Boys (SZPAB) — that combine an international, American-curriculum education with a strong Emirati identity.

Both academies teach from Pre-KG to Grade 12. Classes are co-educational up to Grade 3 and single-gender from Grade 4, and both have been rated Outstanding in the National Identity Mark evaluation.

The academies were founded on a simple belief: the UAE’s future leaders will lead best when they know their nation’s culture and heritage as well as they know the wider world. That is why a demanding academic programme sits alongside highly developed Arabic literacy and a deep grounding in UAE values.

The aim is to graduate confident, reflective young people who see themselves as global citizens — and who have the knowledge, language and character to take their place in UAE society and the workplace.

SZPAG opened in 2000 and SZPAB followed in 2015. Today the two campuses serve families across Abu Dhabi under ALAIN Education.
