Our admissions process is designed to place every student where they will thrive \u2014 fairly, consistently and in line with school policy.<\/p><p>The SZPAB Admissions team handles enrollment, withdrawals and transitions, working closely with families, school leaders, counsellors and the accounts team.<\/p><h3>Admissions office<\/h3><p><strong>Hours:<\/strong> Monday to Thursday, 8:00 am \u2013 2:30 pm \u00b7 Friday, 8:00 am \u2013 12:00 pm<br><strong>Phone:<\/strong> +971 2 203 3333 (ext. 311)<br><strong>Direct:<\/strong> +971 2 203 3311<br><strong>Email:<\/strong> <a href=\"mailto:registrar@zayedacademyboys.ae\">registrar@zayedacademyboys.ae<\/a><\/p><h3>How to apply<\/h3><ol><li>Submit an online enquiry using Apply Now \u2014 the Admissions team replies within one working day.<\/li><li>Complete the online application and upload all required documents.<\/li><li>Admissions contacts you to book your child\u2019s assessment and interview.<\/li><li>If the assessment is successful and a seat is available, you receive an offer letter within one week.<\/li><li>Sign the offer, submit the ADEK documents and pay the 5% registration fee.<\/li><li>Your child\u2019s file is sent to ADEK; once registered, enrollment is complete.<\/li><\/ol><h3>Required documents<\/h3><ul><li>Health record form*<\/li><li>Recommendation form, completed and stamped by the current or most recent school*<\/li><li>Student passport copy<\/li><li>Student Emirates ID copy<\/li><li>Parent or guardian passport and residence visa (non-UAE nationals)<\/li><li>Family book copy (UAE nationals)<\/li><li>Birth certificate (attested for non-UAE nationals)<\/li><li>Three passport photos<\/li><li>Immunisation card copy<\/li><li>Water and electricity bill showing the premises ID (for ADEK registration)<\/li><li>Report cards for the last two years<\/li><\/ul><p><em>*Forms are sent to you by the Admissions team. Places cannot be offered on incomplete applications.<\/em><\/p><h3>Registration guidelines<\/h3><p>Registration for the following school year opens at the beginning of November each year.<\/p><h4>Pre-K, KG1 and KG2<\/h4><p>In early January children are invited to a group or individual meeting to check school readiness.<\/p><h4>Grade 1<\/h4><p>An interview checks early literacy in English and Arabic and basic numeracy.<\/p><h4>Grades 2 \u2013 5<\/h4><p>Submit the ADEK Continuation of Study (Sequence) letter and last year\u2019s final report. Grade 2 applicants are assessed in English reading and writing, mathematics and Arabic; Grades 3\u20135 complete MAP tests in reading, writing and numeracy, Arabic assessments, a questionnaire and an interview.<\/p><h4>Grades 6 \u2013 12<\/h4><p>Submit previous school records (reports, transfer certificate, recommendation and behaviour letters) and the Sequence letter. Students complete MAP tests, Arabic assessments, a questionnaire and an interview. Grades 10\u201312 also need two years of internal and eSIS reports, an equivalency letter, ADEK approval and a parent undertaking.<\/p><h3>Offers and acceptance<\/h3><p>Offers depend on seat availability and are made within a week of assessment for complete applications; families are told by phone and email. Where a grade has more applicants than seats, admissions priorities apply. To secure a place, return the signed offer and documents within one week and pay the 5% registration fee (ADEK Policy 39).<\/p><h3>Transfers<\/h3><p>Students moving between Abu Dhabi schools must complete the process before ADEK closes school transfers (exceptions may apply for Al Ain, Al Dhafra and other emirates).<\/p><h3>Withdrawal<\/h3><p>To receive a refund of the 5% advance, submit the withdrawal form to the registrar before the academic year begins.
